Foraging and Fixes
With the release of 2.98, a lot of issues have been worked out, some mystery ones that have been crawling under the surface for a little, a few notorious ones, and even some little things have all been smoothed out and washed out of the game. A few light additions have been made, notably the ability to actually collect plants and herbs, therefore making the foraging skill useful. Brightwood forest is now covered in plants that seem to sparkle with a "harvest me already!" radiance to them, as well as ore being added. At least quartz, the lesser of precious gems but hey, it's going to be something you're going to need for the alchemy script in the makes as well! So it doesn't hurt to get a little mining experience under your belt.
Ontop of that, we have set in the start of a nifty little setting: the commitment setting! Love the sub-npcs in the game, but a little irritated that they want to flirt and screw around with other npcs? Or do you like a little flirting around but want to be the center of their affection still? This little setting we added to the notebook in the house is perfect for you then.
While we are still stitching all existing scenes and sub npcs to this addition, we may have missed a few bits, but we are finalizing it all slowly but surely. And we also have a debt to pay to Mu Nuan, who was promised an alternate sex scene in the intro due to this system. If you set it to "just me", dialogue entries about romantic adventures with other people will either just not exist, or have something else in their place. Anybody who can get pregnant by non-player characters won't, no matter how much time passes or what scenes you put them through.
A stack of planned additions and content are still being sorted through as we speak, and happy gaming everyone~!
