Deepwoods, rabbits, and a nasty owl

Only that owl's not nasty, chuu, just... minding her business. eue

Hello again, my potential minions! It is I, Paws, at long last. My internet is limited, and my hamsters can run only for so long to support the backup wifi generator - contraband stole mu interwebs, chuu! But, just for you, Paws brings previews of new area! Be thankful, chuu - I could have used this limited interwebs tine to download porn, but here I am, providing you goodies, chuu. Without further ado, behold - DEEPWOODS!

Deepwoods is a moderately big, singular - mostly - area appearing similar to a simple maze. Inside of it, you'll find various lagomorphs, some snakes, wolves, and something that escaped from my breeding pen - a Screamer. Besides that, deepwoods is where harpies go to sleep at night, and during nighttime you can slam smaller trees in hopes of a sleeping harpy falling off, chuu. Not all harpies sleep at night, chuu... there is a strong, nocturnal harpy living there, too. Besides that, there is a rare chance of spotting a Stag monster there outside the hunting event, And, another pet for you to tame - the Feral Jackalope!
Unlocked with a small quest, there's Lagomorph village - Underhills, where the bunnies in the area come from. It has a farmhouse, a healer hut, chef's place, trader, and a place for fighter bunnies to rest. In the middle of the village at night, bunnies start fires, and have good old hippie parties, chuu! In the village, nobody should attack you, but still offer plenty of bunny action. Maybe in the future, we could make that bunnies would be treating you better if you're on good terms with them...

Bunnies live in burrows, and there are some lagomorph NPCs that you'll  be able to watch interact with one another, Like healer and her apprentice, or trader's wives rivaling for his favors, or mischief that baby bunnies at the farm might cause. Now when I think of it, if you'll be able to fuck with bunny NPCs might be based on whenever you have good enough relations with the tribe, chuu...

Lastly, I'll inform you, that deepwoods will house another romance-able NPC - an unicorn femboy called Rusk. He'll be a lovely little nerd you'll have to spot three times in order o unlock access to his house... but, you know what the legends say - only the pure will see the unicorn, chuu...

So! Next time you'll hear from me, I should have a stable internet connection again, chuu. It should be some monster design sheets then, too - so you can have some variation from usual maps and maps, chuu. Maybe I'll even show you some of the design goodies from the speci- OH NO NOODLES, DON'T FAINT, CHUU, DON'T FAINT, I'M ALMOST DONE SHOWING THEM STUFFS, DON'T STOP RUNNI-

Elle Compatibility + Anal Options

I know these updates might seem kind of boring by now, as I always tell you I am working on the Izu system. Well, you will be glad to know that Elle now has dialogue changes based on your gender. They aren't HUGE changes, but they are enough to prevent weirdness when talking to her as a male.

I also have some Izu x Elle scene ideas sketched out, so she will probably be the first npc with male protagonist options for H scenes. With that said, I had originally wanted the Dagon scene to be anal, but was still working on the new internal shots at the time. Now you have a choice of both when the scene comes up.

Since I have already brought up npc dialogue, I will tell you in advance that there will be 4 different versions of each npc conversation.

1 - Female player - Female npc
2 - Male player - Female npc
3 - Male player - Male npc
4 - Female player - Male npc

Only some of the conversations need editing, as some actually are pretty neutral in their gender implications. But the ones that make obvious references to player/npc sex will have various versions to fit with the appropriate gender match up. Even though it's a lot of work, this is one of those parts that are actually easy to put in. It's just really tedious...

Identification, Clothes, and Scruff

The main focus in this new update is, again, the option to play as gender-bent Izuna [aka Izu]. Specifically, I am working on his dialogue changes, so the characters recognize when you are playing as a male or female and use the appropriate lines of dialogue in response.

Future edits like this will include sexual references [lines such as 'fingering yourself' will be changed to 'jerking yourself off'...], and npc conversations will have alternate branches to deal with the changes as well [Elle will still complain about her large bust, but will say Izu 'doesn't know how it feels, since he is a male' rather than comment on Izuna's small breasts and how she has it easy.]...

Once this is out of the way, such edits for the npcs will be far easier and quicker to put in.
Speaking of the npcs, the boys now have their default outfits done.

Minor outfits like swimsuits and towels are still unfinished, but are not a priority yet as we are really more focused on giving the players a 'test drive' for the new player/npc forms first. This goes the same for sexual changes like bust or cock sizes.

If I have some extra time left over, we may even have some corruption change previews soon. Maybe, depends on what needs work and how much time I use putting some of these changes in.

Quick heads-up: Paws might be bringing in some previews of her own, as she has been diligently drawing out plans for new map areas. Currently one of the things she has been working on is a lagomorph village, where you will encounter...You guessed it: Lagomorphs in all of their bunny goodness.

Sleep Depravity and Previews

I haven't been active online today to check the comments, and to be honest I am going to crash soon after this short update. Anyways, time to fiddle around in my bag of goodies and give you previews of what I am working on.

Izu's job system. Since he technically is a separate actor, he doesn't automatically retain everything Izuna has upon changing. The system being one that mirrors Izuna's, meaning he should gain/lose everything she does in order to keep everything static upon switching genders.

'Manning up' Elliot and Misaki. I noticed late in their creation that they still looked slightly feminine in their builds. I am much more used to drawing females, so I didn't realize that they weren't proportioned right. The edits may look slight, but Misaki and Elliot seem more masculine now.

Izuna's bust. While she has her bare busts in the game, she still needs those changes for her clothes. I am working on getting at least her default shirt edits done.

The wiki page. Tenshi and Vladimir now have their basic walkthroughs up. 4/5 npcs in total are posted, with Silver remaining to be added in soon. Probably tomorrow.

While this doesn't seem like a lot, these things require a good amount of work. One thing being worked on that doesn't have a visual preview yet is the health/stamina gain system. After being discussed, we have decided that this will be tied in with battles as a sort of 'level up' mechanic. Certain stats might also be increased this way, depending on the creature being battled.

With everything said, I will be back on after replenishing my energy...

V2.13 - Lighter and Fluffier

Because the file size of the game has gotten pretty ridiculous, and I haven't really been packing the rtp in with it everytime, I decided to skim through all of the game files. After picking out ones that are currently unused and organizing them, I managed to lop off around 200 MB. Sure, the game still isn't 'small', but this is one hell of an improvement. Version 2.13 has only a few changes, being the additions of 2 bandaid items added to the pharmacy, and Izuna's bust size files. While the bust changes for her nude profile have been added, she doesn't have any for her shirts, so you will have to be topless to see the changes. Also, this means you CAN use the potions on her, but the dialogue is still under development.

Tiny Preview

Misaki has his base parts finished, making him almost as prepared as Tomoko and Verdona. It is just a matter of making clothes and a database of expressions for each profile. Here is a small peek at how he came out compared to Miko.
For anybody who is curious, each npc is a varying percentage complete.

Izuna - > Izu :   80% - Has bases, expressions, default clothes and 'male' changes done. [Does not count the progress of other system changes like H scenes of sprites]

Miko - > Misaki :   40% - Has bases done. No clothes, expressions or 'male' changes yet.

Tenshi - > Tomoko : 50% - Has main clothes, bases and some expressions. Bodily changes and extra clothes not done.

Elle - > Elliot : 5% - Is still in the sketch phase.

Vlad - > Verdona :  40% - Has main clothes and bases done. Expressions, bodily changes and extra clothes not done.

I would like to mention that since females do have more parts and changes to them [Males can't really get pregnant or change bust size for example.], that female-to-male profiles might be added in quicker, and get closer to being complete much faster. The patched version has been uploaded, and Izu now has his basic clothes converted.

Too Soon?

After determining that the poll was going to continue reaching 'tie breaker' status, it suddenly shifted heavily in favor to the npcs. Seems I spoke too soon. Elliot is being redesigned, but I ended up making minor changes to Misaki's profile design instead of scrapping it and making a second attempt. So here is a flat-color preview of Misaki. [I haven't sketched out his dicks yet, so he isn't packing much yet...]

And concerning Elliot, I am thinking he needs to be a little scruffier. Perhaps some facial hair around his chin, more of a wider build...Maybe I will have a version of him up within a few days.

Hard Call...

Many of you should have noticed the new poll put up about the reverse-gender profiles. Well, if you have been checking up on it every now and then like I have, you will notice a similarity in the votes. For the past few days, it has been fluctuating between 'more for player' and 'more for npc, dipping into equal votes for both between fluctuations. It really is hard to make a solid decision, as both have their pros and cons.

However, since it doesn't look like there will be a 'winner' from how the poll has been changing, I will probably add a little bit of both. Maybe add the male player profile, a female-to-male npc, and a male-to-female npc demo in the cheat room. To prevent more 'incomplete' systems in the game, the gender swapping potions will most likely be added only after every npc has their profiles ready. It would be even better if each had at least 1 scene change for their new genders, but we will see when the time comes. As it is, the profiles are being played with.

So far, we have Izu's cock sizes and some facial changes added in with his base profile. The main focus is his default clothing and sprite imports, as well as his menu profile. Also, here are some old previews of Misaki and Elliot. They are actually being redesigned right now, since I have better plans for their profile. As you can tell, the sketches are in rough shape from all the edits made.

Hopefully, there will be some cleaner, colored versions of their new profiles up soon. Speaking of profiles, sub-npcs will have minor ones later on. This means they won't have NEARLY as much expression changes as npcs, and little to no body changes. But it does give you a better visual aid, especially if you plan to pursue them. Some of them will be harder/easier to pursue depending on your gender. For example...

Master Rei of The Black Lobo will be open to scenes with both Izuna and Izu, but it will be much easier for Izu to get them. This is because he prefers the company of males, this would be very apparent if you paid attention to his sleeping habits with Ryuki -ahem-...Oh, one more preview for you- The new outfit that you win from 'completing' the Miko nightmare sequence has graphics now~

Anyways, I will try to squeeze some of the reverse-content in the new release, but if I can't get it done in time then expect the patched version sometime this week.

Edit: Wow, soon after posting this, numbers started leaning towards the npcs on the poll. Maybe I spoke too soon, huh?

Tweaks and Previews

Have you ever created something once and thought it looked ok, but then kept trying to create the same thing for a long time to the point of improving noticeably to yourself? And then you take the most recent version of that thing and compare it to your older versions? Well, that's what happened when I went to look back on the futa cocks after making the male ones...So guess what I am redrawing?

I'm also adding more to the smaller features, such as the npc reactions to room entry. The one with the most focus is Izuna's room. There are several combinations so far, but I think it's safe to say that not every location will have as many variations. One follower-combo possible for her room is having all 3 males in your party. Entering the room with all males following you will make them flustered and assume you brought them all there for specific reasons...

Also, to toy around more with the eventual playable male feature, I have been adding parts to Izu's folder. Creating his cock sizes, clothes, and of course arousal-based facial expressions. Though, I am starting to reconsider some of them now.

These are some of the more visually pleasing aspects of what I am working on outside of bugfixing, others are either ones that I don't think have 'good' previews yet or are ones that can't have them. [Like script work...]

Mini-update released

The more stable version has been put up, getting rid of many bugs that 2.0 brought. The next mini-update might be mostly detail fixes, and additions to dialogue or new scenes more than actual bug patches. Anyways, hope you enjoy~

Paws brings goodies

Helloz again! Paws is here to bring some sneak peeks, chuu~ This time, map previews for some areas that will be introduced in next versions! Paws can't show you everything - because how fun would that be if you knew everything before it's thrown in and attached in this crazy machine we ride here, chuu. uwu
Next area to be introduced will be MOUNTAINS.
There are some good things there, like dungeons, chuu! There are also planned and designed several fuckable races with variations, and an unlockable NPC to flirt up, chuu. Mountains are rich in ores and gems, but not give their treasures away cheaply, chuu...! There is also planned a day-to-night monster circulation. For example, in the mountains, during the day you'll be spotting variations of a harpy, and during the night, when chicken-eyed bird women will retreat to the trees to sleep, the Nocturne batgirls will take flight and leave their cave home. This will change the critters flying in town between birds and bats, chuu. Also, we wanna introduce a new thing into the game, and that would be...

THE PET SYSTEM
This serves as good ore mining spot...
Part of a hot dungeon with hot monsters
Boss area in one of the dungeons

Yes, lovely peoples~! Paws has a pleasure to tell you that Nekomama approved of my long dreamed-up idea, chuu~. As a result, you will be able to find, raise, and train tamed, unique versions of monsters found in the wild. Most will be obtainable through side quests, some through beating them, some as rewards for romancing NPCs - some will even join you through special means. We plan to get them all H-Scenes once they are raised into maturity and training them begins, chuu. It might not be for a while until it will be implemented whole, since training mature pets will be involving your collared NPCs, but it's something definitely going in, chuuuu~<3 Pets will be obtained in a raw state - either as an egg, baby, or like with more powerful pets - as untamed beasts. Each will need to be cared for daily for specified amount of time before it matures/is tamed, chuu. It will need to be fed, each having it's favorite food that will speed their growth up more than other kinds, will need to be walked... About those walks, you know the pick-up tactic on a pet, right, chuu...? A happy pet will have a chance of starting a special conversation with NPCs for bonus affection points with them both - unhappy pet will have a chance of starting a conversation that will show you as a bad owner, and make you loose points with other characters, chuu. Unhappy pets will also be disobedient, and will even stop growing when happiness falls enough, chuu! But once it's so, you will be able to take them with you - one at a time - to help you battle, and you will be able to train them. We might even make some mountable... maybe, chuu. That's a lot of spriting work. We don't like spriting, chuu.

A few examples of PET monsters:
  • Paradise Harpy
  • Wispling
  • Jackalope
  • Baby Dragon
  • Foxfire Kitsune
  • Coatl

What Time is it?

I'm sure most of you immediately filled that in with the same answer...

But, it is also preview time! As I lurk all three pages for new responses and reports, I have done some extra playing myself. You know, now that I actually have the time to play my own game instead of just editing and adding to it. Most of the issues I found are detail bugs. For example, Miko still talking as if Silver is there on their date night when Silver is in your party...Or Tenshi's bowl of food being on the counter when he isn't there.

So, needless to say, my fix list has grown quite big. It's great news, because the more I get fixed now, the better it is in the future. Less hassle with new additions to the game, more satisfying gameplay, etc...But enough about that, let's make some fap jokes.

Also, this is a weird time to mention this, but the nightmares can be skipped if you REALLY don't want to deal with that feature. Maybe because you don't want to kill the vibes you have from 'other' features...Anyways, if this is the case, there is always a blue switch close by at the start of the dream sequence [if it is playable, that is]. The blue switch is pretty much an early eject button. There will be various rewards for completing them, so it's a good idea to get used to them if you plan to hunt after certain items in the future.

Fixing, Fixing, Fixing...

Yep! It's that time again, already...Bug fixing time!

Although, there were very few reported so far, so most of this is nit picking details on my end, attempting to make everything hold together better. That, or just seem overall more organized. I will be lurking around here, waiting for new reports and errors to come in so I can release a hotfix that has enough changes in it. And while that goes on, I will be either drawing out scene ideas or working on another in-progress feature. Also, here is a very small fact sketch I made for the hell of it.
This might be something Paws and I do every now and then, to keep things interesting on the blog.

Update: More bug reports coming in, trying to collect details on some and fixing up others. I'm pleasantly surprised by the number and magnitude of them so far. No uber game smashers yet, just ones that get in the way for the most part. Got a decent change-log growing here~

Aaaaaaaand with that, it is time for bed. Tomorrow is a new day for error fixing and comments~
